Job description
HPOne is hiring Licensed Health Insurance Agents to support our carrier's inbound customer calls providing sales and account service. This is a full time, remote work, seasonal role with full benefits and eligibility to transition to our Brokerage Agent Team after open enrollment. Compensation is Hourly, Plus Commission, Plus Differential for Bilingual Agents.

All Insurance Sales background experience will be considered. You can live anywhere in Arizona and work remote / work from home in this position!

We are actively interviewing (virtually) Licensed Health / Life Sales Agents for benefits eligible, full time employment positions.

In response to the need for social distancing and flattening the curve, HPOne has transitioned 100% of its workforce to work remote!

We have tools in place to hold personable interviews with technology, and are prepared to support new hires with computers and tech support and have transitioned 100% of new hire training to a virtual classroom.

During your paid training, you will learn all about the carrier(s) you will support, the resources available to you, and everything else you will need to be a top producer.

We represent all the major insurance carriers and help callers meet their health care insurance needs. All customer interaction and sales are conducted over the phone and there is no cold calling.

Education requirements
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience requirements
• Previous Insurance Sales - Inside or Outside experience
• 6 months of sales experience OR combination of HPOne experience and external sales to total 6 months
• Preferred prior Medicare experience
• Preferred call center sales environment experience
Qualifications
• Current and valid Arizona health insurance license.
• Current and valid Arizona life license is preferred.
• Must be tenacious, energetic, and possess a passion for helping others through a consultative approach.
• Must be naturally self driven and goal achieving with good time management skills.
• Must not have failed America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) certification with any other organization within past 12 months.
• Must be released or able to obtain release from current upline (brokerage appointed under) and employer.
• Certain Federal and State laws, as well as insurance carrier requirements may prohibit hiring insurance agents who have ever been convicted of various criminal actions. Problematic criminal history will result in denial of employment or discharge if determined after hire.
• Completion of computer/typing assessment
• Completion of sales assessment
Responsibilities
• Assist clients in the Medicare application process, including educating the client about Medicare if required, and ensure that all required information is accurate and compliant.
• Use a consultative approach with a Medicare sales needs analysis via phone to identify matching plans and services for the client.
• Understand and adhere to all company, carrier, and/or Center for Medicare Services related policies and procedures.
• Fully understand, abide by, and stay current with all Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rules and regulations as they pertain to duties assigned.
• Work with internal HPOne supervisors, managers, training staff, and customer service representatives in a virtual office setting.
• Successfully meet daily/weekly/monthly sales goals.

•Maintain required licensing and certifications to perform job duties
Skills
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to actively listen and engage in complex conversations.
• Ability to analyze the caller’s situation and customize a solution to fit their needs.
• Able to type 18 or more words per minute.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Work hours
• 8 hour shifts will take place between virtual sales center hours, which are Monday - Sunday, 8am-8pm.
